Women’s Center of Eastern Connecticut is committed to empowering individuals to make informed choices regarding their pregnancy. We understand there is a lot of uncertainty with an unexpected pregnancy. We are here to help answer questions and find the support you may need.

Client Services Associate:

The Client Services Associate is responsible to advocate on the behalf of clients for The Women’s Center of Eastern Connecticut and MobileCare. The Client Services Associate provides life-affirming help and support around pregnancy related issues that include pregnancy-options education, parenting classes, material support, and making community referral connections.

Part-Time (8-12 Hours a Week)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree in related helping field.

  • Previous experience with Pregnancy Care Center or ministry is a plus.

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

  • Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position.

  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statements of Faith, Mission & Purpose Principle, and policies and procedures of the organization

  • Be able to respect and keep information confidential

  • Be dependable, stable, and capable of following through on commitments. 

  • Understand basic interpersonal dynamics and be a team player

  • Be able to identify and adjust to a client’s pace of progress and growth

  • Be familiar with scripture pertaining to the sanctity of life, forgiveness, and salvation

  • Complete on the job training 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pregnancy-related support for clients in an atmosphere of warmth and compassion

  • Offer additional support, material resources, and referrals appropriate to a client's situation

  • Provide accurate information on abortion, parenting, adoption, and foster care

  • Follow all policies and procedures regarding intake, helpline, client follow-up and in-office duties

  • Look for teachable moments with a client in order to share the love of Jesus and His plan of salvation

  • Maintain and update all client files as indicated in center policies and guidelines

  • Support the Client Services Director in afterhours scheduling and client communication

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and address clients’ questions knowledgeably

  • Provide support at special events and outreaches

  • Attend regular staff meetings

  • Support the Client Services Director in other duties as needed
