About Caring Families
For over 35 years, Caring Families has been empowering people to make informed decisions. We believe when people receive comprehensive care and support, they are better able to make life-affirming decisions for themselves, their pregnancies, and their families.

We are EDUCATORS, providing resources like pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, body literacy, options counseling, sexual integrity and reproductive health information, parenting preparedness, and adoption plans.

We are MENTORS, listening and cultivating health relationships with each client. We welcome opportunities to have conversations about faith and share emotional and spiritual support.

We are ENCOURAGERS, taking the time to guide clients through their own decision-making, helping them articulate all the possibilities of their future. We connect them with material aid and sustaining resources, looking past immediate circumstances and advocating for each one fully.

We are LEADERS, inviting our community to partner together with compassion and integrity. Through these relationships, we're able to provide a variety of free, confidential services that are changing lives daily.
Our Services
We are passionate about bringing hope, help, and healing to difficult situations. Through our center in Willimantic, CT, and our MobileCare unit, we provide:

HOPE through pregnancy testing, limited OB ultrasounds, body literacy, options counseling, and referrals to OB/GYN, mental health, non-profit, and government agencies;

HELP through parenting aid, including material support, ongoing education, and community referrals; and

HEALING through support groups and referrals for those who have experienced sexual assault, abortion, or miscarriage or stillbirth loss​.

All of our services are free and confidential. We serve communities throughout Connecticut, including Willimantic, Manchester, Cheshire, Waterbury, New Haven, as well as the campuses of Eastern Connecticut State University, UConn at Storrs, and Yale University. ​​
