We have some BIG news.
EVERYONE has been experiencing various challenges as we continue to navigate in the new COVID world. Caring Families is no different. We are so thankful for the prayers and generous support we have continued to receive from our own caring family. Through these difficult times, our doors at the Women's Center and Mobile Care van have remained open and we have been actively helping women through their unexpected pregnancies.
As many of you know, we have already cancelled or moved several of our fundraising events due to COVID-19 guidelines/restrictions. Sadly, we just learned that we will not be able to host our Annual Banquet at UCONN this October. BUT... we are still excited how God is providing and wanted to share with you the BIG NEWS of upcoming events.
Although the COVID restrictions currently prevent large gatherings like our Annual Banquet, we are, however, in a great place to have our walk. So instead of the Banquet this fall we will be rescheduling our LOVE SAVES LIVES WALK for October.
Since our walk is outside, we'll be able to take all the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe and spaced but also allow opportunity for family and friends to come together and support this ministry. In addition to our main Walk, we'll also be able to help a local church or community to put on their own local Walk for Life. So even if you can't make it to the main location, you'll have the planning and resources needed to put on a mini walk yourself to help support Caring Families.
We are moving fast, making changes and will be sending out additional information in the next week with more details. In addition to the Walk in October, we will be moving our Annual Banquet to the spring of 2021. We are making plans that will allow us to meet even if some of the current restrictions remain in place.
